Smart State Progress Report 2006/07

Smart State Progress Report 2006/07 cover

Premier Peter Beattie has released the Smart State Progress Report 2006/07, honouring a commitment made in April 2005 to report to Queenslanders on how we are progressing as a Smart State.

The Smart State Progress Report 2006/07 provides, for the first time, an extensive account of how Queensland is performing in the 'key drivers' of smart growth - education, skills, research and innovation - and in the important foundations of economic fundamentals and sustainable development.

The report can be viewed via an interactive PDF which also acts as a web portal to additional information on many of the exciting activities and initiatives presented in the report.

The Smart State Progress Report 2006/07 is an important guide to our progress and shows what can be achieved when we work together. Together, we are securing our future and a future for our children.

To obtain hard copies of the report you can email smartstate@premiers.qld.gov.au or call 07 3224 5100.
